Yes I’m talking about building your website. Even though it may feel like you’re putting something out to an empty room, I still believe it’s a tool you shouldn’t do without. You need a go to place that you can call your own and that you own.
I’ve been doing web development for about 17 years and the clients that have the most ‘success’ with their websites are the ones that use them regularly and make needed changes as their businesses change.
Over time, as you blog, put up your creative portfolio, post social content your site will get indexed higher on search engines and people will know where to find you.
The most important advice I could give is to be regular in posting content, and post about what you know and love. Don’t give up…you’ll get a following!
